Skuut along its like a bikeThe Skuut push bike (sounds like scoot as in scooter) is a great balancing toy for kids of many ages.  Our daughter is the age right now when she is ready to take of the training wheels but i am not so sure so i did some investigating and saw this and figured why not lets give it a try as customer stories were great.  There were some other more expensive alteritives such as Likeabike and pedobike but this fit the bill as the best bicycycle for our needs.

How the Skuut balance bike works is simple.  You basically just push yourself around with your feet and then balance and coast,  This gives the child the freedom of learning what it feels like to be on a real bike and the ability to put their feet down at any time to stop when needed. 

The Skuut toddler bike has some great advantages of practicing on a standard two wheel bike.
