We get many questions on the Bedfan and figured we better start posting them. So keep those questions coming and we will keep answering in this little FAQ for the bed fan

Hi. I have several questions about this bedfan personal cooling system:
1) How is the fan powered?...do you provide the necessary cords and/or transformer?..and what kind of user control does it have (like a remote, turn dial, push button, etc
The Fans are powered by 110V standard power cord. The great thing about this unit is it ideal for people who want a little flow or a lot of flow on them as it includes a speed dial control which makes the choice yours. You can have this bedfan flow 1 CFM ( that’s cubic foot a minute which is very little up to 100 CFM which is a whole bunch.
2) Does the fan on the bedfan personal cooling system make a loud, medium or soft noise as it operates? I'm a light sleeper. @ the lower settings this makes very little noise and you should be able to sleep like a baby J
3) Is it UL rated? What are the safety concerns? The bed fan is made in the USA and is UL rated so the safety inspection has been cleared and passed
4) Will the cool air drift over to my spouse's side of the bed? The air generally flows more in a forward pattern. If your spouse does not want airflow from the bedfan what we suggest our customers to do is this. When setting up the unit place the flow of air under the sheet for your self and have the other member sleep above the sheet. If this is not an option you can always use 2 layers of sheets one for you were the air will keep you cool ( the bottom layer and the next layer which would be blocked for your spouse.
5) What is the life of the unit?..and what kind of warranty does it come with? The comes with a one year warranty and life span varies. Like a car run on full throttle it will have decreased life. On lower setting it will last much longer.
6) What makes this different than a typical bedroom fan? Well the air actually hits your boddy cooling you while you sleep. Not just hitting the sheets like a normal fan.
